Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications
Collaborate with software developers, product owners, and project managers to understand application functionality and testing requirements
Document and track defects using appropriate tools, clearly describing issues and providing necessary steps to replicate them
Participate in test planning, estimation, and prioritization discussions to ensure timely and effective testing of software releases
Work closely with the automation testing team to identify test cases suitable for automation and provide input on test automation strategy
Assist in the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in manual testing techniques and tools.
Previous experience as a Manual Tester or Quality Assurance Analyst in software testing
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, testing techniques and best practices
Proficiency in using test case management tools and defect-tracking systems (e.g: Jira)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team
Flexibility and adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities.
