Do you feel like you're someone with a sharp sense of responsibility, capable of managing an entire production warehouse? We are currently seeking a Plant Manager for one of our clients specializing in the manufacturing of electrical cables and wires.
Manufacturing and Supply Chain Optimization: Drive manufacturing and supply chain ramp-up, aligning with Annual Operating Plans. Ensure timely fulfillment of customer requirements.
Manufacturing Leadership: Direct production operations for JIT supply of KSK harnesses within agreed costs. Recommend operational adjustments for optimal capacity utilization and cost savings. Cultivate relationships with Third Party Manufacturers.
Projects Execution: Contribute to project development and lead implementation within set timelines and budgets.
Policy & Procedure Development: Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to support business objectives.
Planning & Budgeting: Develop operational plans aligned with business goals. Manage team budget for resource allocation.
Health & Safety Compliance: Contribute to policy development for maintaining a safe work environment.
Environmental Compliance: Ensure operations comply with environmental standards and legislation while controlling costs.
People Development: Lead technical training, development, and performance appraisal in collaboration with HR, focusing on new equipment and manufacturing processes.
College graduate in Engineering, or equivalent;
Over 10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing and supply chain roles, preferably within the automotive manufacturing sector;
Currently holds overall responsibility for managing one or more operations;
Proven track record in leading and supervising large teams of professionals;
Proficient in Just-in-Sequence (JIS) supply and/or harness production;
Demonstrated expertise in ISO 16949, ISO 14000, safety protocols, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), project management, and Lean manufacturing methodologies;
Strong understanding of factory cost accounting and proficient in interpreting financial data;
Willingness to undertake the challenge of establishing a plant from the ground up.
MBA;
Training on Six Sigma, TPM and Lean.
