One of our clients is looking for a dynamic and experienced logistics specialist (with over 3 years of experience) to join their Logistics Team as Head of Logistics. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail and extensive knowledge of various sectors such as production logistics, production planning, customs services, asset or property management in the automotive harnesses industry. Able to quickly understand complex concepts and processes, identify and solve problems and implement systems that optimize productivity and customer satisfaction.
Personnel Planning, Management, and Development: Define target agreements with staff, monitor achievements, and manage salary ranges in coordination with plant management.
Recruitment and Personnel Administration: Conduct interviews, select personnel, approve hiring according to the personnel budget, and manage vacation and overtime approvals.
Department Budget and Cost Planning: Create budget plans for investments, training, and projects for the upcoming year, and obtain necessary approvals from the logistic director and plant management.
Production Planning and Control: Oversee production planning, order control, and capacity planning to ensure efficient operations.
Material Management: Manage inventory, oversee stocktaking in the warehouse, handle missing parts management, and monitor delivery deadlines.
Intra-Logistics: Plan material supply, layout, and material flow, and develop and implement supply strategies.
Project Management for Customer Projects: Control and manage new and ongoing projects, handle change management, and prepare procurement applications for equipment.
Development and Implementation of Production and Logistics Concepts: Collaborate with plant management to develop and implement effective production and logistics strategies.
Reporting and Controlling: Prepare and submit weekly department reports and monthly reports to the headquarters.
